A TRIO of immaculate turned out Wigan Corporation buses. Number 72. DEK 4E, 73 DEK 5E. and Number 31 ? Can'tmake out the registration, but no doubt someone will know<g>

In 1964 Wigan Corporation Transport placed an order for 10 PD2A/27 buses which were delivered in two batches of 5 in September and December. Bus numbers were 146-150 and 3, 11, 24, 29, 31; registration numbers AEK 1B through to AEK 10B. So bus number 31 was AEK 10B.

The bus in the centre DEK 5E, looks almost new and in immaculate condition. See item number 27196, now in horrible Orange and white livery of GMT colours, a sad end.
