After zooming and tweaking this photo I think this could possibly be Frank Brown on return from Wigan Lane.He visited there every now and then checking the work flow,he often drove a vehicle back with him when the drivers were on other duties.The nick name (Commander)was one of many that was given to other employees at Northern Counties.Can anybody remember other nick names:- like Harry Rat,Borky, Wart hog,Shag,Cruncher,Roldie,etc.

what about pigeon face, baboon, rat tash, bigamist bertrand, dry knacks,mavis, zippy,captain mainwareing was paul thomas's shadow,followed him all round wigan and even picked him up and brought him there house so they could get a taxi together......awwwwww
