Another photo I've found taken at the same time as all the others on a Sunday afternoon, after closing time, in the early 1960's, on the Wellfield Hotel's car park. The two people in front are :- ? and Jack O'Brien
At the back, seated and standing are, left to right :- ?, ?, Gerry Kenyon, Danny Molyneux, Eddie Gallagher, Barry O'Brien, Denis Weaver and Bob Hickey. Apologies for not knowing at least 3 names, their faces are very familiar indeed to me, I just can't recall their names from 50 years ago.

Just noticed the people in the background on the right. Thats my old house No.34 and it looks like my mum and sister Julie talking to another woman.

3rd from right is Gerry Kennan. He was an engineer at North Western Electricity Board at Bradford Place.

Francis Cedric 'Ced' Gallagher (Eddie Gallagher's Older Brother) is one of the names you are missing first man in-line (left-right) My great grandfather.

Coming across this photo in 2018 and seeing Gerry Kennan brought back memories. I worked in the drawing office at the 'electric works' in Bradford Place in the late 40's early 50's. Gerry' s dad (also I think,Gerry) also worked there. His dad was the trade union rep and accompanied George Orwell during Orwell' s stay in Wigan when he was researching for his book 'The Road to Wigan Pier'. Gerry' s dad appeared in a BBC documentary on Orwell.
