I left in 1951 & Arthur Huges looks just the same in that photo.

I've waited donkey's years to see this line-up again; it's got to be the side that demolished our school (Up Holland Sec.) team 8-1 in the final of the 1962-63 Lythgoe Cup Final at Springfield Park.
One of the Ashton Sec. lads - 'stocky' with bushy hair and pins like oak saplings,scored about four goals in that final and since then I've neither seen or heard anything about him - until now!
He's almost certainly the lad on the extreme left of the middle row.
Anyone know his name please?
Like Kenny Roby and John Picton, I was in my 3rd Year whilst playing for the Seniors and also vividly recall Geoff Frodsham giving his usual immaculate display in the Final.
In subsequent years I played either with or against Geoff, Kenny, John Picton, Kevin Atherton and Keith Fairhurst - all of 'em smashing players.
