There are 47 pupils in the picture, more than in Miss Howard's class. I think this includes some from another class...I suspect it was the 11 plus group.

I know that's me 2nd from left on girl's front row. I recognise Gillian Sutcliffe, and Margaret Hopkins who did nurse training with me but died several years ago. I know Barry Riley and Jim Marsh have both died. So sad we were full of hope for the future.

Barry Riley is very much alive and kicking. John Lydon passed away recently.
