When did trains stop using that line through Haigh Hall?
I don't remember them at all but I was 7 in 1971.

Catherine, the line closed completly around 1973-4. But look how much HGVs this goods train is taking off our roads, and no traffic jams...

I've spent years thinking that a young childhood memory of a full size train in Haigh Hall must actually be a memory of the little train. Thanks for this photograph!
