My Mother, Bessie Monks on left.
2nd from right Marjorie? Duckworth. Does anyone know the others?
The weavers each looked after 20 looms and,
they had a battery filler whose job it was to make sure none of the looms ran out of weft.
At age 15 I was my mother's battery filler - so definitely no slacking on the job.

I think the girl in the middle could be Brenda Bond, who was a pupil at Poolstock C. of E. school in the 1940's. I think she lived in the Walmer Street area of Poolstock.
