John Taylor was Vicar of St James with St Thomas, Poolstock, and is now Vicar of St Mary, Prescot, Area Dean, and a Canon of Liverpool Cathedral. Bob Packingham's butcher's was shop on the corner of Warrington Road and Knowles Street. He was organist at St Mary's for a time, and was latterly organist at St Michael, Swinley, prior to his death.
