My auntie lived in Thackery House can anyone tell me if it's still there?

Thackeray House, along with Dryden House and Masefield House were demolished in 1991.

We used to live in the same type of massionette in Orchard House Scholes, I wish I could find some pics of them on the internet just for nostalgia

I lived in Withnall House, Scholes. The end maisonette, big 3!!!! Lived there until we had to move. Anyone got any photos'?

i lived in the maisonettes on elliott drive from 1972-1977

i lived in eliot drive in the flates from 1971 till 1976 then moved up marsh green but only did about 12 months then moved back to eliot drive in a maisonett till 1985 i have some good times in eliot drive x

Not sure which flats he lived in but does anyone remember a john Berkeley or Christopher john Berkeley? He lived in worsley mesnes in flats which no longer exist in 1989.

I lived in the block of maisonettes opposite the ones shown I think they were knocked down in 1984 i loved living in worsley mesnes it was ruff but exciting that was 36 years ago wow after the flats were demolished my mum being from Ramsgate in Kent we moved there and its were I still live today but I will never forget my 14 years I spent in Wigan children of today have no idea swimming in the flash bmx riding going to haig hall brilliant it's all about mobile phones and x boxes today I'm just so glad to be able to say I enjoyed being a kid the friends I had back then will almost certainly be married with there own children today there names were Stephen and Malcombe Ellison John o grady and his brothers and joey Cropton
