The Engine in this pic is a P2, which stands for class 2 passenger engine .Which was mainly used on the G C line in the 50 and 60 no dout my brother will have meny memories of this type of engine than me ,I was on goods mainly

Used to see these daily on the Wigan to Bolton line pulling two or three coaches.
