This looks like Holme Avenue? My Auntie has lived on this road since 1936, when the house was first built, and she is 90 now!

I remember when Holme Avenue and Mesnes Road were tree lined with Cherry trees, they were a beautiful sight in spring with the blossoms and also in autumn with the leaf colours, but folks got fed up with sweeping up the blossoms and then the leaves - so the council cut them down. They were lately in the process of replacing roadside trees that had been lost in the past, but with the latest events of cutbacks I can't now see this continuing.
