My dad worked there for years, think he left in 58/59?

My late father Thomas Winstanley worked down ARBOUR during the mid 1950s then later went onto to work at the QUAKER HOUSE COLLIERY a bit further down the road from ARBOUR the owner was a
DONALD ANDERTON , my father worked there along with my late brother Wilfred Winstanley . They used to tell me that Quaker House was a very wet mine , They took me down one Sunday whilst i was at school and ready for leaving to see how or if i could adapt ,, thank god i didn't ,that would have been in 1961 .
