View looking East showing the training school building. This was originally the Pirelli site hut for the electrification of the Crewe area of the WCML. The brick building to the left was the main railway/Pirelli stores during the electrification of the Stafford lines south from Crewe to Stafford and beyond. Latterly the brick building would become E200 stores which were the main electrification stores for the LM region. Nowadays it is used by Network Rail’s OCR staff who carry out various heavy modifications to the OHL equipment throughout the country. June 1992
