Nellie was born about 1890 in Pemberton comes under the Wigan Disc't of Greater Manchester, Lancashire, U.K. Death
18/06/1975 in Adelaide South Australia.. Father William Gaskell (coal miner) Birth 28 Sep 1861 in Orrell Lancashire Death c1940 in ST.HELENS, Mother: Harret Dean Birth
1861 in Winstanley, WIGAN, LANCASHIRE, sibblings:
Mary Jane Gaskell 1885 – 1950 married James Waddilove
Elizabeth Gaskell 1888 –
Margaret A Gaskell 1892 –
Rachael Gaskell 1894 –
Alice Gaskell 1896 –
William Gaskell 1900 –
Last know residential address was 256 Billinge Rd (Nellie visited there with her 2 sons after the death of her husband)

Found this photo while looking on site came to realise her mother was my great grand dads mum think that's right Mathias gaskell wife Jane lived in fleet st Pemberton

Dug bit deeper think is on my grandfathers side as he lived 250 billings road so one of us cud be wrong and William gaskell was my grandfather and looks like nellies brother I do remember his telling sister went Austrailian but never had any details

My Grandmother was Mary Jane Gaskell who married James Waddilove. My Mother was Gwendoline Alice Waddilove, born 1920,twin brother was Ernest Waddilove.Other siblings, Doris, William, James, Ida
