another great pic anita are you on the right and did you come from wigan or were you visiting friends again just looking at your clothes really is nostalgic , those hairdoos the girl in the middle looks to have a suede coat on? i had one like it mine was a mustard colour with leather pocket flaps sounds yuk now but i loved it i literally had to beg and scrike to my dad for it he always gave in in the end(lovely dad) my sister had a dark brown one and the most gorgeouse purple long leather coat think she still got it heavenly days.
I agree with Josie on all the comments she has made. A better world then...a gentler time.
Josie, I think the dress sense of ladies in the 60s was fab, that glorious decade was absolutely fantastic. Why did that era end, today it's all about tatoos, and jeans.
yes, it's me far right...I'm from Germany, Kathleen was my English penfriend..I came to Wigan first time in 1963 visiting her..stayed with the family many times after and loved it..we had a great time!
Well said Josie, I hope you manage to get in touch with all your friends Anita, Wigan World is a powerful site.
ay and today they swear like navvies,it sounds disgusting comming from girls
