Played football every break and dinner up on that playground.Used to dive and rip my pants on a regular basis and it never hurt.

Thats the mobile on the left with the steps and the sun dial used to be at the side never knew in those days how one worked !

I managed to rescue the dial and is one of my prize possesions. Still has the initials of former pupils on it

This school holds such affection in my memory. I'm so sorry it no longer exists.

I remember sitting listening to a transister radio with all the girls sitting by that old sun-dial I was there2svmg in 1960 to 64 (Jean Holleron - my sister Barbara and brother John also went to Gidlow after me.)

I was here in the 80's, I was in barley, I think it was barley anyway, we went to pendle hill on our class trip, my teacher Mr Coulson got engaged to the teacher next door, I was also in coniston, and Windermere, windermere was the end classroom on the left before you cross the playground to the next section of the school
