Can you tell me where this church was located? What town? I was christened at St. Peter's, Bryn. Thank you!

Chloie, St Peter's was at the junction of A58 Liverpool Road and A577 Atherton Road in the centre of Hindley.

Maurice, if it's now gone then that's where it was. However, if it's still there then I appologise to everyone concerned. It's quite a while since I have been to Hindley and should have checked before making a comment.

I was a choirboy there in the 60's. The church has a fabulous organ; very rare.

When I was at Hindley Grammar School, we always went to St. Peter's for our carol-service and to All Saints for our Founders' Day service.
