That was the Ince and Hindley bus stop, queued up there on many occasions.

My Mother met my Dad, Bill Bradshaw at a dance at the college on the 1920's. He went to night school classes there in weaving , she was the daughter of Thomas Bryson, lecturer in mining there. According to my mother Dad wore an awful plum coloured suit to the dance but it obviously didn't put her off him .
