Due to the unconventional way of entering the field here, I'm gonna take a stab at 1987 when Wigan played Halifax, or the year after against Widnes in the Charity Shield at the Douglas Bowl, Isle Of Man. What a really interesting and unique photo, Cheers.
Kathryn, this has sealed it me, it's 1987 as you put further pictures of yourself in 88' with the kit change, does Isle Of Man ring any bells for you in anyway? I don't recognise this as any rugby ground I've ever been to on the mainland... I'm intrigued and it has certainly got the cogs turnning in my head.
