This would have been taken in the 1960's. Rachel was a very good friend of mine when we were at school in Ormskirk, She came from a family of market gardeners there. Sometime in the 60's she married & left this Sceptre'd Isle for a new life in California, her married name was Cowan. Wonder what she is up to now ?
