Wigan Album

I was amazed to come across this image of Coutaulds Skem. This photo was taken on the last day the factory was officially open December 1976. This is a picture of all the maintenance and engineering staff taken in the workshop. I am standing 2nd row from the back on the left 3rd one in with the Starsky type cardigan as was the fashion around this time. On the front row are the management team, from the right Ron Brotheridge, Wally Seddon and Chief Engineer Maurice Priest. Many familiar faces here but a lot of names I can't remember now after all these years. This picture has brought back many happy memories of my time at Courtaulds.
