The only thing i think i know of this picture is that the Duke of Kent opened a part of the factory maybe at the beginning of the 1970's.
There was a commemoritive plaque over the clocking area of the Stores stating this.
I see on the picture The Duke, chatting to Tommy Blackledge (Ex Fishing Tackle Shop Owner in the Weind) who was the works Union Conveynor at that time. Also looking on, to the Dukes left is a young Tommy Morris.
If anyone recognises the others please add there names.
