Ya Harold Peet died in a car accident on the Kirkham bypass going to Blackpool.
David Dean died of motor neurone i believe.

Alan,this photo was proberly taken at the start of the school year sept 1964.

Coleman is not on there also but i think he started at highfield later? Brian Shaw died around Feb 1965.

These lads were the backbone of the soccer team that got to the final of the Champion Schools in early 1966. The final was played on a Saturday morning on the old Wigan Rovers ground behind Rathbones Newtown...Can't remember if we won..think we did...but I remember Harold Peet (Ped) and Don Boardman being in the team...And Tish...

Looking at this I would say about 1962...if this was taken in the first year...I am on the other page with Miss Todd, and that was 1965...These lads were in their last year when I came to Highfield...
