This photo is 1962 I am on the back row, (Philip Eatock) and I left shortly after as we moved to Newton-le Willows, The next photo is virtually the same class minus my self, which I presume was 1963.

Got to hold my hands up, I was helped a little by Maggie Mac to compile the names.

A couple of corrections to the names of the people in photo: the teacher is Mr Bob Jones and 3rd row from the back, extreme right is Eunice Forshaw.

First time Ive seen this photo. Bob Jones a great teacher. Married Miss Aitken. They were a long time in that store room. Great memories.

Hilary, which storeroom do you mean? I know of several storerooms which were used for purposes other than storing :-)

I went out with Eunice forshaw in my teens when she worked at Pendleburys in Wigan ..strange how ONE unwelcomed kiss and a honest confession can ruin a lovely relationship..always wanted her to know I was kissed by an unwelcomed person... end of everything..glad your Mum got her wish Eunice..same as I did..best regards Frank

Glad to know there are people still around to correct mistakes, Neil Rigby, where are you now? I still get into Wigan on Friday night, 9 to 10p.m. onwards, along with Alan Baybutt, and Jim Ashcroft,and some times Frank Dawber,And John Johnston.
