Wigan TMD staff out side of depot after preparing royal engines some time in the 70s

A lot of people didnt realise the amount of work that went into getting the Royal Locos ready.Every member of Wigan T.M.D. staff played there part.But four men stood out from the rest for the hours of cleaning and polishing they did, were Fredy Green, Jimmy Watkinson, Fredy Cocks and Norman Ince?. What you have to remember these locos Worked coal trains when not on Royal Duties so there was a lot of dirt and grime and minor bumps to get without.
You took the photo Derek but how many can you name?
I can name about 80% - just a few that I can't remember.
