Front row - 1st left is Donald Hodgson, 3rd left possibly Mann?
First left on second row is a driver, possibly Arthur Lowe?
Middle row - first was a driver but can't recall his name. End person wearing trilby was named Edwards. Man to left of Edwards was Bill Rigby.
Top row, third in was Ronnie Dawber. Fourth in was Gordon Wilkinson. Fifth in was Alan Pomfret. And seventh is me, Malvyn Lusher!
We travelled from Liverpool to Dublin in a force 10 on a flamin cattle boat! We went into O'Connell Street in Dublin and there was a big store called Cleary's. Over the top was a dance hall and I can remember 3 Dutch sea-men having trouble with the bouncers.
We were members of the Staff Association as I recall. I think it was a mixed group of Springs Branch and Prescott Street shed workers.

Malvyn, you are between Derick Close, left and Jack Edwards, right. Ronnie Davis is top left, below him is Arthur Robinson, next to him is Bill Bootle then Clive Worthington then Gordon Wilkinson. Bottom row middle is Tony Mann then Jack Dowd.

The one centre in the front row definitely looks like Tony Mann, lived in Leaway. He was my brother's best mate. My brother being John McSorley. We lived a few doors up from Tony in Greenfield Avenue.

My dad John Lucas is in this photo, back row last person on the right. He often speaks of his time on railways with many happy memory's.
