I like this one Anne, love the touch of rainbow on the left. Where was it taken?

Hello Anne.....this is a beauty of a picture .....I love to see ominous skies...I would be very pleased if I could put a copy in my album....cheers!!!

An amazing atmospheric picture! I love the gloomy, grey and threatening sky and the effectively captured glimpses of sunlight between the clouds caught on the grass! (I'm waxing quite poetic, aren't I??)
.....Where was this picture made?

Rivy pike pole floating on top of a cloud. no tricks in this one..genuine shot that how I like um, what you see is what you get.

Nice capture Anne, good rich colours!
It's taken from near Springpool/Pemberton Road, Winstanley.

Great shot!

Lovely photo.
Mick. Why would it not be green? For the whole time we were there in October rain poured down on it? Ever the optimist, I was a bit off the mark when I booked a trip hoping for an Indian Summer!

I like these rural pics.

Comment by: Jod on 25th November 2013 at 14:18

Wrong again, Garry, just like you were with yesterday's comments.
The mast is on Winter Hill, some 100m higher than Rivington Pike and some 3 miles walk away.
We're still waiting for one of your photos!

Thanks for askin.

Comment by: Garry on 25th November 2013 at 17:19

Jod's telling Ann where the photos been taken?????

Comment by: Lizzie down under on 25th November 2013 at 18:40

Thank you Anne....I forgot I asked before....foggy brain disorder....
It looks stunning on full screen iPad would make a great wallpaper...Ta again...cheers!!

Comment by: Jod on 25th November 2013 at 21:48

Garry, two people asked where it was taken, I was naming roads instead of using a vague road number, trying to be helpful!
If you don't take photos yourself, don't criticise others so readily.
I notice you didn't admit your errors.

Comment by: Garry on 26th November 2013 at 08:41

Most of the time I'm right, and this time I am...many thanks Jod.

Comment by: Garry on 26th November 2013 at 15:10

Yes Jod at 21:48, but it's up to Anne to tell them and not you...after all, it's her photo not yours!
