Thanks.
Lady Mabel's Wood is on the opposite side of the canal to Haigh Hall golf course.
The shot is almost as it was when it came out of the camera. All I did was crop it a bit and brighten the shadows.

It's beautiful, it doesn't it matter how it came to look like it does, just enjoy the beauty of it...

Have a good day everyone!!!

Simply lovely!...I agree with Janet, but can't resist a question; David, did you use a filter to get the "star" flare?

TAAAAADAAAAAA.....here I am Garry...what a beautiful picture David....I love the sun effect makes it very magical....nice blue sky.....cheers!!!!

Comment by: Mick on 24th November 2013 at 22:39

David that must be one of the worse photos that you have taken.

Comment by: David on 24th November 2013 at 22:56

Ellen no I didn't use any filters, I just closed the aperture to maximise the star effect around the sun. The colourful lens flare is just good or bad fortune depending on if you like it or not :)

Mick, it's WORST not worse !!!

And it's a lovely photo :)

Paula, Worst is a sausage.
Did you know that the best sausage is the Worst and the worst sausage is the best???
