They will tell you anything.Trees usually become diseased from the centre out. There doesn't seem to be too much disease on this tree yet.

I hate to see trees felled. I know that it is necessary sometimes but it looks so sad.

That tree stump would make a nice bench if they cut it into a bench shape.

They showed a nice one in a Yorkshire churchyard on the Dales TV show last night.

There is a nice bit of timber there if they can get a lorry in to take it to the sawmill. After all these trees were planted to be harvested, perhaps it would pay some bill for the maintainance of the Country Park.
