NHS
How the NHS is broken when a hospital in England refuses to treat any one from Wales unless its an emergencyIt all boils down to WHO funds the patients because they have spent over £31 million treating Welsh patients in the last year What about all the overseas patient who come over here for hospital treatment and don't pay a penny into any system.

Patients from overseas are harder to get hold of.
I went to Wales once and was treated as though I was a foreigner

I have always said that the only thing which spoils Wales is the bloody Welsh people who live there and in fact about a month back I was in Pwllheli and I called in the Asda store there and I was listening to two mothers who were talking to their infant children in Welsh, they weren't together and it just occurred to me that Welsh was obviously their first and thus preferred language and there was also two old women in there jabbering to each other in Welsh and I didn't like it, because it made me feel uncomfortable and not wanted I suppose that makes me seem to be intolerable of other cultures and so bigoted in nature.
Well I agree then, I am a pillock, because I don't like gypos either.
But the Scottish and Welsh might not like English people, but they like taking English money and not paying for their share of NHS costs.
But am I racist, the answer is no, because I am not bothered what colour a person is or what faith they follow and all though I hate the immigration effects of the EU policies in swamping Britain with immigrants, which are putting a strain on the infrastructure of this country, however I like immigrants on a personal level, because they are only trying to better themselves and in the main they are more hard working, polite and helpful, than us British folk.
On about Pwllheli Asda, when I got to the checkout, the woman on the till talked as though she was from Wigan and the oldish couple who she was talking to in front of me, who she obviously knew, also sounded like they had Wigan accents and that has happened before, in Morrisons in Caernarfon and Asda in Llangefni in Anglesey, the women on the checkouts had Northern English accents, which sounded like Wigan accents, so I presume that must be because Welsk women can't work a till, but they are probably good with sheep

The Welsh voted for devolved government which included the responsibility and funding of the NHS in Wales.
NHS England has an 18 week limit for start of treatment, except for cancers and urgent cases. In Wales it is 26 weeks.
NHS England has a two fold system from primary to secondary care which gives GP’s some flexibility in the choice of hospital for patients. NHS Wales doesn’t have that flexibility. To Welsh people this is important because there are poorly performing hospitals in Wales on a much bigger scale relatively than in England.
English hospitals have no problems in treating Welsh patients providing they get paid on time and the payment process isn’t over bureaucratic.
English GP’s treating Welsh patients are paid by NHS England.

The NHS is like most things, you can always find something to complain about.........but only if you really want to complain and there are one or two serial complainers in here...... no names but you know who you are

Stardelta why do you feel the need to post such a thing on this conversation about the NHS? It isn't about serial complainers or other members you clearly have a problem with, it isn't very fair after people have taken the time to post their comments.
