just got back in from crook,had the company of zippyand roylondon ,ready for coming home custard and jarvo turned up quite a crowd ther and everyone seemed to be enjoying there selves .

It was a nice time.

I’ve just had a right good chat with custard.

Turns out someone started to use custards account and then tried to post on the guestbook using custards name. I smelled a rat with the postings and hit the yellow triangle. Admin has to allow the posts on guestbook so because I had concerns looked at the IP address and it was questionable and so de activated the account due to suspicious activity.

Custard then questioned this with admin who, after an exchange, checked the IP address of the recent postings and found her to be telling the truth.

So I was 50% right and 50% wrong and for my wrong I have apologised to custard.

Lisa: I check the guestbook on a regular basis. There have been no postings by Custard on there. Not one.

I put it to you, that, when Custard returned, YOU, for some unnknown reason, took offence to what had been posted, and, thinking that it was me...(though how the hell could I have access to her phone is beyond me) pressed the yellow button.

What followed was a series of unfortnunate events leading to Custard being thrown off and then returning...Nothing to do with me may I add.

History? I really don't what you are inferring there, but I'd be very careful with your reply.

I'll put it to YOU there were no postings on guestbook because they were submitted yet not authorised by whoever the admin was on that date!

I hit the yellow button because I did not believe the first postings were by custard and that led the admin to believe there was suspicious activity with her account!

I have been on these boards a long long time and there has been an instance in the past where someone used custards account to write and post a poem and then apologised using their own account. You don't need to be using a phone to access these messageboards. A persons laptop will suffice!

Hope you are well. I have just read your post above regarding Custard. I have no idea if she is or isn’t the real thing. She is a good, sensible poster and that is all that matters. However I would disagree with you on a cou0le Of things. There is only room for one idiot in a village and the person currently posting as Brush is undoubtedly him. From memory he has held that position when he has posted under at least five different names. I would also point out that it is possible to stand in a pub surrounded by fellow drinkers reciting poetry and rambling about some obscure Midlands football team and still post on here. Presumably he visits the loo from time to time and that would leave opportunity to do anything thanks to the wonder of modern technology.

Fortunately I still speak to xrh on another forum but I really miss Opti and his wife. Had some right locking of the horns with him at times.

I also have met Bennie and his wife many years ago. I know his sister very distantly as she has a love of horses and used to bring one to our yard to ride in the school.

It was only afternoon here so I could watch “the events “ of Friday night unfold. Optimus/ Brickmaker/ Chorlton Wheelers ( or similar) got better as the night progressed and the brandies became larger. The arguments got quite rowdy but everything forgotten the morning after. Empresses brother used to post also. Bennie never took a shine to me, as a matter of fact it was quite the opposite.

It was Chorlton and the wheelies broady and lets not forget Dick Barton. But yes the more brandies he had the better it got. He was a right rum bugger and he did like pushing the boundaries.

His name was Franny, Bill, another great poster.
Lisa. I used to have a ride out now and again, with Bennie when his daughter was horse riding. Lassell Farm, I think. Excuse the spelling!

Lassell house. Is that what used to be wrightington equestrian? Now derby house store? On Mossy Lea Road?

If it is I had my first riding lesson there.

It was a great day, Nanna. People raised a lot of money for charity. Wigan Hospice.

It was 3rd July 2011. I've got a dvd of it somewhere. One or two members off here are on it. Nothing untoward. Just people enjoying there selves for a great charity. If I can find it, you are more than welcome to a copy of it I think Mick filmed it
