How long have you been working on your layout cindy? it's obviously farther advanced than Wallgate. I did consider Central station a few years ago but sometimes I like to sit back and 'watch the trains go by'.
Progress here has been slow due to having to restart after moving house (again) but staying put now!!!!! I have only recently joined the two ends of the main line up and have just outlayed cash on going over to DCC control so hopefully I will get trains running through the timber and cardboard wilderness shortly.
Now about those shops people............
