I am giving this my best shot as I have a town and railway to finish that is very close to my heart even though I left there as a youngster. It would seem you certainly can't take Wigan out of someone and I do find it very disconcerting standing over here and watching what appears to be the steady decline of my home town.
Which is probably why I am working back in the late 40's with the model, (given the amount of info needed and found via these pages, WW, it's members and their combined memories has proven invaluable.
