Hobbies / Books (Gardening, walking, books, films, theatre etc.)
Hi all, Cindy unfortunately progress has been a bit slow of late as Deb and I try to finish off the various house and garden projects to make the place presentable for our up coming wedding on 11th oct. (I figure after 14 yrs we should ) So if any of you are not busy that afternoon either come on over or raise a glass to the Bride and Groom.
I have been carrying on with some of the buildings including the Victoria and now the Station Booking Hall but info from the 40- 50's era is getting a bit sparse now although the buildings are largely unchanged.
I have also been fitting DCC decoders to some of the loco's and getting things up and running / ironing out faults as I go. My son and his family are coming over from Perth (WA) so the line had better be running or my grandson will want to why.
When I figure it out I'll try to post a video with train sound running through Wallgate.
Marie,I believe the building you are asking about was Middleton & Woods's Headstone shop.
Cheers all, will try to update soon when I've achieved something
