Handbags   (The sad, the bad and the ugly. Non-productive stuff here.)

Started by: britboy (6794)

I decided to do a catch-up on the weather just for the hell of it, been going for about 4days now, snowblower overtime
The weather changed from a two day snow storm to lake effect snow....we didn't notice the change lol
As usual the snowmobilers are as happy as pigs in dirt.

Weather Alert....

LAKE EFFECT SNOW IN THE NORTHWEST SNOW BELTS TODAY AND WESTSNOW BELTS TONIGHT

THROUGH THE DAY TODAY, EXPECT LIGHT LAKE EFFECT SNOW TO INCREASE
IN COVERAGE WITH 2 TO 4 INCHES POSSIBLE THROUGH THE EVENING HOURS.
ROADS MAY REMAIN SLICK THIS MORNING, ESPECIALLY GIVEN THE RECENT
SNOWFALL AND ONGOING LAKE EFFECT. HOWEVER, LATER TONIGHT EXPECT
THE LAKE EFFECT SNOW TO INCREASE IN INTENSITY ESPECIALLY ACROSS
NORTHEASTERN ALGER AND NORTHERN LUCE COUNTIES AS THE LAKE EFFECT
SNOW TRANSITIONS INTO THE WEST WIND SNOW BELTS. TONIGHT THROUGH
EARLY THURSDAY MORNING, ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS OF 3 TO
6 INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE PRIMARILY EAST OF GRAND MARAIS.
