I rake most of the time, gets a bit of exercise in, I rake into piles then pull each pile onto a 10x10 tarp, pull the tarp into the woods and dump the leaves.
Could have over 30 large piles to get rid of...don't mine doing it, out in the fresh air which is about 41F at the moment and a gale blowing.
The maples offer a big canopy of shade in summer.
