The blame is solely on Southgate's shoulders. He was schooled by Mancini (as was Ferguson). Southgate's set up was all wrong and his in-game decisions were terrible/non-existent. He brought on two kids at the end (Sancho/Rashford) too late, and put them and Saka in the firing line. Also, where were the senior players to take a penalty instead of letting Saka, a 19 year old kid, have the pressure of that responsibility?

We have a team that could finally win something but the management needs upgrading.

BTW, was Kane on the pitch tonight? I hope that version of Kane (complete with diving) doesn't get anywhere near City.
