I took whups off ignore as I wanted to read how he wanted me dead. My intentions were that if I thought he was threatening me in any way I would inform the authorities without second thought.

As it happens, and in fairness to him, I think his noose comment was more metaphorical than threatening (as in the phrase give someone enough rope etc.....,). Although it was tactless, and I am obviously not getting a Christmas card off him, I didn't detect any malice, threats or intent. It certainly wasn't worse than some things I have read on here in the past.

I will keep him off ignore for now in the hope that he can confirm my interpretation of his post. I'm sure it was just harmless banter.
