I can see you're a 'newby', so you obviously know loads and need to make your impression.
Firstly, read back through this topic and take note what john joseph wrote, then consider this as a follow up:-

So, the 'deepest' section is 25', enough to cover a farmhouse maybe, but would a farmhouse be built in a brook? No! The rest of it is shallow, 4' to 6' deep.
My conclusion, therefore, is this ....
'There is NO farmhouse under Scotsmans Flash'.

Now, is that 'sensible' enough for you, Alan?

PPS ... AND, Goose Green is in Pemberton, not Wigan!
