Started by: tuddy (1298)

I remember a lad going into Blackburn's office with a big plaster on his forehead. He told Blackburn he'd cut his head and the plaster kept falling of when he sweated and asked for a job on the surface so he could keep the wound clean. Blackburn threw a box of plasters at him and said "teck them dewn't pit wi thi". Joe moss was the overman in the Florida when I started on the haulage.Remember Wigwam yed? he had his long hair parted in the centre like the etrance to a wigwam. There was also Tennis Ball Yed, Skunk Yed, and Empty Yed.
