Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

Bill was the boss,Ian the Deputy Colliery Surveyor.Early 70's,I would have been an apprentice surveyor,I qualified in 1976.Barry Shaw was the head linesman.Lawrence Mchrystal at that time,I think was with the methane borers.We went to St Helens Tech together on the OND course.He must have qualified as a mine manager but I never heard about him at a coal board pit.He was manager at the small licensed mine at Billinge,Castle Colliery.Who are you?Maybe I can remember.I had hair then,long hair!
