Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

I have enjoyed reading this thread, as it is a story of what I have missed.

I DID see the Stones at the Ritz, mid 60's, and went to 'Twisted Wheel' in Manchester. Casino was operating those days, but it was not yet into its 'Northern Soul' era.

But, I left Wigan, mid 1960's. Left the North West.

My music venue became 'UFO' in the days around its move from Tottenham Court Road to the Roundhouse at Camden: a place that has its own distinctive history.

Good to hear about what was going on along the 'path not taken'!
