Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

THIS IS FOR ( WHUPS ) I have wrote some where asking you did you know of or hear about my dad and my brother who used to work at the QUAKER HOUSE COLLIERY?? i said something like my dad had an accident there a roof came in on him he had just started on face getting better money when this happened end result he ended up working on top.

The owner was a DONALD ANDERSON dad said he was a fair bloke ,and whilst dad lost his face job Donald helped him by asking him to come to his house in PARBOLD and work his garden on SATURDAY mornings for a few bob extra. Then my brother started there his name was WILFRED WINSTANLEY
my dad was ( THOMAS thom) other nmames you may know JIMMY HARRISON, BOB( robert) WITHERINGTON JUST a few . I have read somewhere you or somebody else talked about miners getting payouts for the dust problem ,but they had to have been N.C.B. employees is that true???? SO i hope you respond WHUPS/
