Chris If I remember when you went along the manrider tunnel there was a bend to the right. on this bend was also a L shaped section of tunnel for the old Trencherbone workings. The oil used to seep throu the roof there. Also if you ever did an inspection of the mouthings from the shafts you could walk down an incline to the main return and if you stood quietly you could hear the water running under the floor of the tunnel, Like tuddy said C9 was flooded and the water was coming from somewhere(the Myth of a Subterranean lake)
