The rescuing of birds. I know the feeling only to well. Because there is a window at each end of my lounge birds occasionally believe they can fly straight through. Most are dazed with the collision but normally recover with a little cuddle and feeling safe. Not long ago however I heard an almighty bang, a fully grown male pheasant had hit the kitchen window, it was dead, I didn’t know what to do with it so binned it.
