General   (General discussion, talk about anything.)

GB, I empathise with you. The boomer generation, now called the rich pensioners, worked to recover the UK from the war, and put it in a sound place. 2 weeks holiday a year, no sick pay, no maternity pay, no paternity pay, no bereavement pay, friends and family dying from industrial injuries, living within their means and going without to buy their houses and not be a bind on the State, the list is endless.
All that has been eroded for decades now for the snowflake generation and I find it astonishing that in the late 70s there were strikes and fights against Callaghan and his government, letting the Tories in and then further fights against the Poll Tax.
And yet now, nothing. These people are invaders, they are parasites living off the workers and all the hard work and sacrifices made is for nothing. Today's snowflakes, extinction rebellion who should be on the beaches sending them back, will rue the fact they did nothing.

I have a friend who has had to give up his home to pay for his care, having worked all his life down t'mine. Lost everything to pay for this increase in population.
