This song by Spanish composed by Joseph Lacalle in 1923, and sung by many artists,
including Andrea Bocelli, was also in the film Once upon a time in America ,version by Ennio Morricone.
Its a beautiful piece of music, and a version by Helen O'Connell and Bob Eberly in 1941 , was remembered by American soldiers in World War II and sung with irony as they fought in France and saw the poppies of Flanders Fields.
This is my cover of it , from my Youtube channel ,thought it would be nice to share it with you, for Armistice Day. Thank you.
