Yes Keno, the world is beautiful place, it's man who's distroying it. Does anyone know of the how many people are slaughtered currently in Rwanda and Haiti? Nope, guess all we can do is continue to speculate. It's still happening all over the world day in day out. Look at the poor children in South Africa that will be orphans due to HIV/AIDS! They predict over 20 million children will be parentless by the year 2010. How do you stop that? We can't stop the worlds problems but we can work better with each other to help stop it happening.I get pleasure in helping by giving to charitable associations for what I see is necessary and I always remember a statement made by Lewis Hyde, "it is only when the gift has worked in us, only when we have come up to its level, as it were, that we can give it away again... The transformation is not accomplished until we have the power to give the gift on our own terms".
