Water is considered to be expensive in Europe, though varies much between the various countries, and UK is mid ranking amongst these.

Rainfall is plentiful, most years. Potential catchment is not scarce. However, our systems costs are very high.

I would like to see houses build with grey water capture: filtered rain run-off, the water run from hot tap until desired temperature obtained, etc etc... captured and stored for non potable water use, eg toilet flushing, possible laundry etc.

Considering such as a retro fit to my own home.
