Support for the Ukraine stems from the way that many of from their country supported our country in the second world war to win the war against Nazi Germany.

No doubt the same would apply to Czech Republic and Poland if they had been invaded.

But would there have been the same support in this country if Russia had invaded other former Soviet states like Hungary/Serbia and former Russian state of Finland.

I doubt it!
